Original character design for my story! Neeta is the sow, the goddess of hearth and home and mirth. She is aligned with the earth and watches over mothers and their children. Her own piglets function like Roman genii, each acting as a guardian for some aspect of a happy home: one tends the garden, one mends the clothes, one cares for pets and shooes away pests, etc. (The youngest of her piglets are the triplet spirits of the kitchen, each of whom is responsible for a specific food group and tool set. However, they all work together to bake — and then devour — sweets.)Neeta is a gentle goddess, one who advocates peace but still graciously welcomes the more warlike gods into her home. In times when the world is in extreme peril, though, she has been known to ally with the monkey war goddess Surila, and they are a force to be reckoned with.

Hahahahahaha oh man I think I’ve completely forgotten the point of thumbnails.

On the upside: less for me to worry about drawing when I get to the penciling phase?

Vajra has lived in the palace her whole life and never seen a real, live chicken. :3

taxidermy-princess asked: i know this sounds like a really dumb question, but what exactly is the last king of kemala singh? is it a actual comic? because i tried to find it and couldnt find it anywhere. all i get when i search is just the doddles/art that you make and never any actual comics.

Not a dumb question! It’s my original story, something I’m hoping to release the first issue of this year (as a webcomic). Sorry if I’ve been confusing. :)

I never post anything this sketchy, but just in case you were wondering what I’ve been up to: thumbnails! Finished the script for my comic last week, so I’m back on track for my goal to complete an issue this year :3

avali:

A sketch done for Sairobee, of her original character Vajra. She’s such a stunning lady.

Don’t mind me, I’m just going to be over here losing my shit.

chizicus:

Really, really late gift art for sairobee of her character Rogier from The Last King of Komala Singh.
Rogier x hookah x elephant* = OT3
* elephant sold separately.

I seriously had some heart palpitations when I found this in my in-box yesterday. This is SO gorgeous and so unexpected and SO NAILS HIM. Chizicus, you have made me a very happy girl. <3
This is what the #yes yes yes yes tag was invented for.

poupon asked: I've always loved the Last King of Komala Singh and I got really excited when I realized you have a tag for it. And, uh, that's not really a question so here's one to justify saying this in an Ask instead of Fanmail: what are your feelings on feelings?

FEELINGS ARE PRETTY RAD EXCEPT WHEN I AM HAVING THEM AND THEN THEY ARE ANNOYING. I like to think I’m all tsun tsun and :< and then feelings happen and they are terribly inconvenient.

And dude, thank you! Believe it or not, I’m actually managing to make progress on that story despite my fandom distractions. I’m around 3/4s done with the first script (and a few pages into the second), so crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to at least come close to my goal of getting the first chapter out this year. :D

Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
